About New Dawn Care
Roman Downs is the vision of George Bowness, Chief Executive, who formed New Dawn Care Limited in November 2003, in order to create one of Shropshire's first ‘Care Villages’. He worked for many years as a senior manager in industry before becoming a Consultant. This role brought him into contact with the Care Sector where he found his niche and was soon appointed as Chief Executive to the largest provider of residential care in Shropshire. Following a trip to America the vision of the Care Village was borne and New Dawn Care was formed.
George's business partner is Kim Pilkington, Finance Director, who has worked in the care sector for a number of years and alongside George has developed the Village and Care Company.
A CSCI (Commission for Social Care and Inspection) registered domiciliary care provider and future care home provider. Our operations manager (Mrs Carol Jones) is a qualified nurse and able to assess care needs on an individual basis enabling the provision of quality 'care packages' tailored to suit each person.
As a registered care provider we bring care into individual homes according to need, be it help with shopping, gardening, personal care, cleaning etc.
New Dawn Care's philosophy is to promote independent living within a village environment. Our staff, supported by continued training will provide a wide range of social and care services which reflect the individual needs of Service Users. Our aim is to promote and maintain dignity for all who use our services, enabling the highest quality of independent living.
