Roman Downs Care Village
The Care Village is set in 4 1/2 acres with panoramic and far reaching views of the South Shropshire hills and the site has been developed to maximise the feeling of spaciousness and enjoyment of the surrounding area.
The whole site offers spacious accommodation all finished to a high standard with attention to detail whether in Oak Lodge (our Care Centre) a bungalow or in our Coniston House apartments - the theme being independent living whilst maintaining dignity through non-intrusive care.
The concept of the Village is to provide 5 star accommodation with high quality 'care packages' to meet the individual needs of all residents.
We can offer respite care breaks to families who care for their relatives at home.
We can enable couples to stay together where maybe only one partner needs care and support and we will offer 'close care' accommodation through the Care Centre.
We expect the Care Centre with all its facilities and services to be the central hub of the village.
Many properties are now occupied with the last few bungalows remaining for sale and the apartments ready for viewing.
Through our CSCI (Commission for Social Care and Inspection) registered Domiciliary Care Agency we are already providing care into some of these properties, enabling people to stay in their own homes, rather than going into 24 hour care.
